The contents of Part-1
Characters and Scenes
- Characters: There are two people, one male and one female.
- Situation 1: Most situations are not between people who know each other.
- Situation 2: One person has problems, questions, or concerns.
- Situation 3: The other person belongs to a company, organization, public institution, government agency, etc.; and can solve the other person’s problems, etc.
- Situation 4: Locations include public areas, stores, and offices.
Question Format
- The Conversation consists of 3 sections.
- You can listen to the Conversation only once.
- The Conversation Time for each section is between 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds.
- After each Conversation, there will be 2 or 3 four-way questions.
- You can listen to the question only once.
- Total of 8 questions.
- The answer choices can be words, phrases, diagrams, pictures, photos, etc.
- The answer choices are radio button style.
- Each question has a time limit of 30 seconds, including the audio and the answer.

Introduction
The introduction to a question has a fixed pattern. Here is an example.
You can find the following in the Introduction.
- There are two people, one male and one female.
- Identify the location where the conversation is taking place.
If the conversation takes place in a school, it could be between a teacher and a student; if in a company office, it could be between a boss and a subordinate.
If the characters are in different positions, the male may be the boss and the female the subordinate, or the female may be the boss and the male the subordinate.

This Sample Question listed is a “Type B” question.
- Listen to the conversation.
- You will hear a conversation between a man and a woman in the Services office of a insurance company.
- The man is a services representative, and the woman is a customer.
Section-1
You will hear the conversation only once. It is about 1 to 1.5 minutes long.
